Bunmi Adedayo Foundation launched in Lagos, Nigeria.

Bunmi Adedayo, the late indefatigable son of Mrs. Olayinka Pamela Adedayo and Mr. Adekunle Adedayo founders of Tastee Fried Chicken (TFC) in Nigeria, was honoured post-humous at the Muson Centre, Onikan, last Tuesday morning, with a Foundation.

Aptly tagged: Bunmi Adedayo Foundation, it is an embodiment of the emotion that Bunmi attached to the development of the less privileged in the society, while he was alive.

Three years after his death, the crème de la crème, gathered that Tuesday, in a colourful event to showcase for the first time, the content of the foundation and its administrators.

Significantly, Bunmi Adedayo Foundation will provide an opportunity for the less privilege to enjoy the educational benefit and standard of education so enjoyed by the influential-rich in the society. This according to the family is to immortalize the giving nature of their late son.

At the event was ex Minister of Education Obiageli Ezekwesili who spoke at length, words of encouragement even in the face of lack of basic services to the people. Senator Daisy Danjuma was there, so also was a member of the Foundation Board of Trustees, Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa. Indeed, all the members of the Board of Trustees were present and so were the Foundation’s Board of Directors.

Also present were late Bunmi Adedayo’s family and his widow Yemisi.
