Chief Dupe Jemibewon loses Mother in law

Multi-linguist top socialite and business woman Chief Mrs Dupe Jemibewon has lost her mother in law. Mama Emife Jemibewon passed on in her sleep on Thursday July 21st. She was the mother of General David Jemibewon, the first military administrator of the old western region, who also is Chief Mrs Dupe's Jemibewon's husband.

Mama Emife Jemibewon was a
community leader and member of the good women movement of the Apostolic Church of Nigeria. She passed away peacefully in her sleep inside her Iyahgbede home in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State, North Central Nigeria. She was aged 105.


About this time last year, ex Minister of Police Affairs, General David Jemibewon also lost his father-in- law, Chief John Bosede Ajayi an educationist, author and business man. Chief JB Ajayi passed away in his sleep on Monday June 22, 2015. 

Messages of condolence have continued to pour in at the Jemibewons country home, while burail arrangement is presently being planned by the family.

Mama Emife Jemibewon is survived by her first child General David Jemibewon (Rtd) and Chief (Mrs.) Janet Owadokun, a retired civil servant.



She is said to have been a peace loving, kind-hearted woman in her life time.
