Art and Culture enthusiast Dr Rasheed Gbadamosi is dead

Dr Rasheed Gbadamosi a top member of the Musical Society of Nigeria (MUSON) is dead. A lover of arts, culture and African tradition, Dr Rasheed Gbadamosi was a man of many parts. Apart from being a sponsor of the arts, he was a writer, publisher and a man

of industry.

Until his death yesterday, he sat on the board of many organisations and was more popular as the Chairman of the Bank of Industry. A Lagosian of high repute, he was also an ex Federal Minister and an ex Commissioner of Lagos state. He was also a co chairman of the forthcoming celebration of Lagos at 50. He died at age 72.
