Yesterday's celebration of Valentine's Day, was unique in Lagos, especially for the Maritime Queens and Women in the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA).
The gorgeous Maritime Queens and Women in the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), took love and sharing in the spirit of the day, to the royal palace of His Royal Highness, Oba Abdulfatai Aremu Aromire (Ojora of Ijora Land), who along with his cabinet, received the delegation, with warmth and joy.
There was much to say, in terms of speeches, but there was even much more to share in terms of gifts, refreshment and cutting of the well decorated Valentine Cake, presented to His Royal Highness, Oba Abdulfatai Aremu Aromire (Ojora of Ijora Land).
The visit which was led by Hajia Bola Muse, the Governor of Women in ANLCA (WINA), the women wing of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents, was significant because, according to Hajia Bola Muse:
"the visit gave the Women In ANLCA, an opportunity to present to the Oba, a letter appointing him as a Patron to WINA. Also, it was an opportunity, to decorate the Oba, with ANLCA sash/emblem."
As an extension, the visit also enabled 'Platform Reporters,' to use the occasion, to introduce Girls-Go-To-Sea Campaign (GGOTSEC) to the Oba and his cabinet.
...and there were beauty queens too |
