Princess Bunmi Jegede prays for President Buhari says: Get well soon!

More and more goodwill messages have been pouring in for Nigeria’s ailing President Mohammadu Buhari, who is said to be on rest following doctor’s advice in far away, United Kingdom. The goodwill messages increased when some of the president’s desire for a corrupt free country, starting yielding fruits even during his absence. 

Just over the weekend, the new government policy of celebrating whistle blowers, led to a discovery of millions of dollars stashed away by an ex NNPC official. And the Minister of Finance has already indicated that more whistle blowing will actually follow, and lead to more discoveries of looted Nigerian money.   

It is against this backdrop that Abuja based business woman, Princess Bunmi Jegede over the weekend, gave kudos to President Mohammadu Buhari led administration, and for the president’s steadfastness in the fight against corruption in the country.

According to her, “I have always known President Buhari to be a man of integrity. Definitely we did not make a mistake in voting for him. We knew his antecedents, we knew what he is capable of doing, and we know that if this country is to be cleansed of corruption that, it will take a person of integrity to do it.

“Just like I said some time ago, as Nigerians, we may be feeling the pain of some of the president’s policies right now, but I am sure that, there will be rejoicing at the end of the tunnel. A time will soon come in this same Nigeria, when we will all laugh and be happy that, we had a Buhari, who came to save the country from perishing at this time.

“Imagine the kind of money that has just been discovered, and that is from just one single individual. So you can imagine the other money that has not been discovered! I pray that God gives President Mohammadu Buhari a long life to see his term through. God will grant him quick recovery and allow him to return safely. He still has more work to do here. And as Nigerians, we need to co-operate with the president, to make Nigeria, a better country.”
