Tuesday October 24 was World Polio Day. To mark this
day, the Members Rotary Club of Isolo Golden District 9110, stepped out of their
comfort zones, into the open market of Mile 12 on Lagos Mainland, to immunize little
children and put an end to polio.
With road show, music and health officials, the Rotary
Club members went into the nooks and cranny of the market to ensure that their
mission was accomplished.
The market women upon spotting familiar faces of health
officials among the entourage gladly brought out their little children for the immunization
to end polio. And the health officials knew the right questions to ask before attending
to any child.
