The Nigerian movie industry and its lovers are still
feeling the ripples of love, passion, beauty and glamour created by the very
classy wedding last Saturday, of star actor Daniel k. Daniel to the girl of his
dream Tina Anunah. The nuptial knot was tied at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic
Church, 1004 Estate, in highbrow Victoria Island, Lagos.
Interestingly, the bride’s twin brother, a Catholic Priest with Maiduguri Diocese, was among the team of priests that conducted the wedding Mass.
The uniquely worded invitation had promised “Something Light” for guests. The wedding reception however, turned out to be anything but light. It was a carnival and a feast all in one.

The presence of a large number of Nollywood celebrities (actors, producers and directors) added a lot of colour and glamour.
Paul Ukpabio’s Blog spotted the following among the many eminent Nollywood personalities present at the wedding of Daniel K. Daniel, popularly known as DKD: Blossom Chukwujekwu, Ramsey Nuah, Rita Dominic, Okey Bakassi, Wole Ojo, Film house CEO Kene MKPARU and FilmHouse COO, Moses Babatope.
Other FilmHouse dignitaries, Don OMOPE, Producer Martin Gbados, Actresses Kiki Omeili, Lillian Afegbai, Mimi Orjiekwe, Chita Agwu, Adaora Ukoh, Actors Melvin Oduah, Chris Okagbue, Bryan Okwara, Bucci Franklyn, Shawn Faqua, Tope Tedela, Gospel musician Nikki Laoye, Comedians Ushbebe, Okey Bakassi. MC- Comedians Frank Donga and Funnybone, Etinosa Idemudia, Charles Inojie, Alexx Ekubo, Enyinna Nwigwe, Director Obi Emelonye, Director Moses Inwang and Andy Boyo the grand patron of Association of Movie Producers (AMP) and the CEO of Nollywood Cinemas and Diamond Pictures.
Daniel’s mother, Kande Daniel, a widow of 13 years,
works with the Nigerian Television Authority NTA. Daniel's younger brother and upcoming musician, Kris'D who was among the groomsmen.
Daniel clinched Best Actor in Africa award, back to back, from AMVCA and AMAA, in addition to other local and international awards within the same period.
