Ilupeju Diamonds Lions Club few days ago took their club activity to a higher
height when they had a collaborative activity with the Federal Road Safety
Corps in Lagos.
The
event took place at interstate parks where members of the Nigerian Union of
Road Transport Workers, benefited as their drivers were taken through a range
of activities to ensure that they pass breath test, along with interactive
sections which ensured safe driving. The overall result which turned out
satisfactory, enlightening and educative for all that took part in the
road activity workshop.
Speaking
later to the press, the Club President, Lion Omosaiye Olatundun said she was
pleased "as over 90% of the drivers that took part in the activity
sessions, passed the breath test of no alcohol. This activity session has also
enlightened drivers on road safety, security, maintaining safe-driving and
driving culture."
