Come 15th April, Mr. Rufai Ladipo, the President/CEO of Agile Communications Limited, a top advertising company located in Ikoyi, Lagos, will be one of the few prominent Nigerian achievers that will be honored with a prestigious 'Brand Influencer Award.'
The event which will take place at the Federal Palace Hotel is titled: ‘MY HERITAGE, MY PRIDE & SISI OGE’ Award and it is being put together by No. 1 Heritage Solutions. The award event is also endorsed and supported by notable international organizations, agencies of government and the host state, Lagos State Government.
And if there is anyone who so deserves the 'Brand Influencer Award,' that will be no other person than Rufai Ladipo himself! A past president of Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN), remains a formidable name in the world of advertising and creativity. He left Nigeria in1979 and returned to STB McCann as an Accounts Director. A place he eventually left as the Chief Executive Officer some few years later.
For Rufai Ladipo, it will be one of many honours: However, an award from one’s heritage, a heritage of Africa, is something worth looking forward to.
Rufai Ladipo, is married to Funmi Ajila-Ladipo, the President of Fashion Designers Association of Nigeria (FADAN).
