The Emir of Kano, His Royal Highness Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi is in a happy mood. And that’s because his son Adamu Sanusi also known as Ashraf, graduated few days back from the University of Manchester. The Emir was gthere with an entourage, at the graduation ceremony to share the joy of the day with their son.
Ashraf Sanusi as he is also fondly called was the cynosure of all eyes as his father the African royal courted attention during the event. Ashraf received flowers and other gifts for doing well and making the family proud. Ashraf’s mother also attended the event.
Ashraf was not alone on his graduation day, his friends and colleagues Abdulmaleek the teenage son of Senator Soji Akanbi who graduated with a law degree and Mohammed Marafa the son of Senator Garba Kabiru Marafa representing Zamfara Central Senatorial zone were there as they all graduated from same university of Manchester.
For the family of Sen. Soji Akanbi, it was joy fulfilled as the 19 year old ‘baby of the family’ bagged a Law degree. Senator Soji Akanbi is the immediate past senator of Oyo South Senatorial District in the 8th Senate under the ruling APC. The family is blessed with 3 handsome brilliant young men who all schooled abroad with first and Masters degrees in top Russell group universities. Abdulmaleek, is already set for the Law school in Abuja.
July indeed as really been a season of graduation in the UK for the Nigerian elite class.
