For the sake of fair hearing and non partisanship, the Coalition of Online Publishers in Akwa Ibom State (COOPA) received Mr Joseph Roberts and his DREAMSALIVE Project campaign team on Wednesday, July 31, 2019 ahead of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) Akwa Ibom State Chapter elections.
The journalist, who seeks to lead the body of pen pushers in the state, said his manifesto dwells on the 'Completion Agenda', especially of ongoing projects at the state NUJ Secretariat. He also highlighted accountability, professional best practices and member's welfare to be top on the deliverables.
Speaking on behalf of the group, the Deputy Chancellor, Mr Aniekan Ekah stated that as COOPA, it is pertinent to grant audience to all parties interested in the seat, while hoping that members will follow their conscience to elect a leader for the union whose manifesto captures their interest.
