The chairman and CEO of RevolutionPlus Property Company Ltd, a real-estate business mogul, Mr Bamidele Onalaja has showered encomium on the organisers of the Nigeria Media nite out Awards for putting together a platform in celebration of media personalities who had one way or the other contributed to the growth and development of Nigeria through dissemination of adequate information as at when due.
Briefing the media at the 13th edition of the prestigious event which took place at the Ikeja Airport Hotels on 15th September, 2019 where he revealed that the organisers are really doing a great job.
He adds "When you take into consideration what it takes to put event of this magnitude together in terms of finance, personnel, logistics and some other resources that must have gone into it, then, one would realize it's really a big deal". he explained
"This being the 13th edition of the awards means it's been on for more than a decade and considering the consistency, it's such huge achievement sustaining the momentum".
"I'm really happy to see the calibre of people that are in attendance and I wish the next could be better than what we have this year and by His grace, we'll partner with them".
In the same vein, Mr Bamidele urged all media owners in the country to see how best they can take a clinical look at the welfare of their personnel and make it a priority as they are integral parts of their business.
"Though, most media owners are more or less entrepreneurs who invested for profit but then, their staffs are also important especially those had been through thick and thin should be taken care of and when they're found wanting, association or body like Nigeria Union of Journalists should be able to fight for them to ensure they get paid as at when due".
"As for me, I don't joke with my staffs welfare because I know I cannot do the job all alone. Their welfare is paramount to me even though, every entrepreneur has his or her own ideal way of dealing with their business but then, the welfare of staffs is quite important and should not joke with". he stated
Meanwhile, the event was well attended by creme la creme of the society which cut across business and social circles.
