Dignitaries from all works of life, besieged Afe Babalola University to witness and celebrate
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (the APC Party Leader), as he was conferred with a
Doctorate of Public Administration (Honoris Causa) at the university’s 7th
convocation ceremony in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, Nigeria
yesterday.
Among them were royal fathers, senators, sitting governors, former governors, business moguls and others. A roll call included: Senator Tokunbo Afikuyomi, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola Minister for Interior Affairs, Mr. Dapo Abiodun Executive Governor of Ogun State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu Executive Governor of Lagos State, Chief Bisi Akande former Executive Governor State of Osun, Mr. Adegboyega Oyetola Executive Governor State of Osun, Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal Executive Governor of Sokoto State and Lagos State Governor’s advisory committee (GAC) members.

The university’s 7th convocation
ceremony also witnessed the Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Muhammadu Sa’ad Abubakar
III, the Obi of Onitsha, His Royal Majesty Igwe Nnaemeka Achebe and Prof.
Anthony Adegbulugbe an entrepreneur and the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer,
Green Energy International Limited, also honoured with doctorate honorary
degrees (Honoris Causa).
