Top Socialite-Politician Chief (Dr.) Kenny Martins opens church in Mowe, Ogun state

Divine Favour Prayer Assembly Ministries, with headquarters at Loburo phase 2, Mowe, Ogun State, opened a new chapter yesterday with the dedication of a new branch, and first anniversary thanksgiving service of her Omu-Ajibode/Arigbabuowo branch of the church.


And on spot to cut the tape for the brand new church edifice yesterday was top socialite and politician Chief (Dr.) Kenny Martins, Chairman/CEO of Greensprings Limited. So many things contributed in the choice of Chief Martins performing the grand celestial honour. Chief Martins is not just a devout Christian but one whose parents saw to the early growth of Christianity in Nigeria and some parts of Africa, and a person who has not relented in efforts to promote the gospel of Christ.

Speaking at the epoch making event, Chief (Dr.) Kenny Martins commended Dr. Tayo Popoola, the head pastor of the church for putting up a befitting house of God, and prayed for the expansion of the church.  He encouraged the ministers and the entire congregation of the church to cooperate with the head pastor in moving the Church forward.


The former Vice Chancellor of Federal University of Technology,  Akure, Prof. Peter O. Adeniyi expressed joy on the opening of the new branch. He described Dr. Popoola as a workaholic who has taken the family virtue of hardwork to a commendable level.

The general overseer of Christ Ark Bible Church, Ikotun, Prophet (Dr.) Joshua Adele handled the dedication segment of the service, while Prophet (Dr.) Joshua Oyeniyi took charge of the prophetic segment of the service, just as Rev. (Dr.) Friday O. Ordia handled the special segment for the release of divine favour upon the church, and all those who graced the special service.

The special message for the service was delivered by Dr. Abiodun Adeneye Marcus, the General overseer of Sanctuary of Nations Assembly, Somolu, Lagos. Invited guests at the event included dignitaries from all walks of life who graced the occasion.
