Words Meet Images On Valentine’s Day

It’s the fourth edition of “Words Meet Images 4.0,” a community art project that is a melting point bringing together different art forms and people of varying social strata. Using poetry, drama, music and photography, it seeks to highlight the national and global concerns.

The maiden held in Iju Road Agege, on February 2018, a place where people from different ethnic groups have co-existed peacefully for decades; the second was used to turn Akpata Carnal in Somolu into a tourist centre on July 20, 2018, while the third was held at Isolo (LAUREL SCHOOLS and De PARLIAMENT BAR).

The Fourth will be held at Ifako-Ijaiye Local Government, Lagos. With the theme, “EMBERS OF LOVE” is meant to reawaken the importance of love/peace as indispensable continuum in our polity. Ogba is a special edition, not only because of its unique timing, it is our second edition and there would be primary schools, students and their parents in attendance, among other guests.
And as the world is celebrating the season of Love, in the spirit of Valentine’s Day, we are also joining our voices in the universal message of Love.
