GOV Oyetola Lauds Yoruba Unity Forum On Giant Strides

The Governor, the State of Osun, Elder Gboyega Oyetola, has extolled and proudly identified the sterling virtues and the dogged giant strides of the Yoruba Unity Forum, the Yoruba Socio Cultural umbrella to appreciate the immense efforts of the leadership and the entire members of the highly revered Yoruba Unity Forum, the Socio-cultural umbrella of the societies of Yoruba race, the entire Yorubas while identifying the hitherto, hidden, unidentified potentials and the divinely given, enviable qualities of the Yoruba Nation.

In addition, while saluting the sterling qualities of the blessed late sage, Chief Obafemi Awolowo and his very much revered co-travellers, to visibly demonstrate such enviable leadership qualities which has since remained unparalleled to excelled, Governor Oyetola, singular extolled the leadership as role models of its founding founders of the forum more importantly, Yeye Oba, Dr. H.I.D Awolowo, the political and spiritual firebrand catalyst, Bishop Bolanle Gbodigi, the UK Media groomed religious, community leader and orator, presently anchoring the Forum leadership, Archbishop Ayo Ladigbolu, the retired Archbishop of Ilesha, Methodist Church Nigeria, a very highly revered astute scholar of note, former Chief of General Staff, Lt. Gen. Oladipo Diya (rtd), the very highly respected former governor of Oyo State, Vice Admiral Akin Aduwo, the industrial icon and seasoned politician, the APC Vice Chairman, Governing Advisory Council, Senator Anthony Adefuye, the forum’s Secretary-General, the Legal Luminary of inestimable value, Chief Ladi Jimileyin, the daughter of the late sage, Dr. (Mrs.) Tokunbo Awolowo Dosumu, a former Senator of the sixth republic, Senator Olufemi Okurounmu respectfully as the Vice Chairman with other highly revered elder statesmen and women, championing the viability and sustainability to place the forum and the entire Yoruba race on such enviable pedestal of great qualities that remained unparalleled at all times

He humbly also saluted the immense contributions of some past governors, their deputies, other notable legislators as well as the numerous quality individual professionals that stood for its enviable ideals and continued leaders in all its ramifications.

While appreciating the utmost relevance and importance of such august visit which he jokingly said was although in March, governor Oyetola pleaded for more of such zeal and dogged support to responsibly champion for the Yoruba race, more importantly to empower the Yoruba race, more importantly to empower the youths on the quality of such leadership, enviably and very highly dependable role models as the race and the nation’s leaders of the nation and the globe, the forum and the elders could be very proud of and rely upon at all times.

Addressing the distinguished audience, the leader of the delegation and the chairman of the Yoruba Unity Forum, retired Archbishop of Ilesha, Methodist Church Nigeria, the Most Revd Ayo Ladigbolu congratulated governor Gboyega Oyetola on his victory at the polls, more importantly, his judicial victory at the Apex courts and saluted his steadfastness to positive, constructively and gainfully lead Nigerians and other residents of the state of Osun, especially with the very adequate provisions of the dividends of democracy, Archbishop Ladigbolu while inviting the governor to the forum’s forthcoming summit for the youths empowerment remodeling their minds for the constructive, reliable, proud, dependable Yoruba nation of great reliable tomorrow to hold at Ikenne’s Efunyela house, the forum secretariat, the late sage premises.

Archbishop Ladigbolu was of such great confidence and support of state of Osun and other colleagues the forum event would definitely succeed immensely in Jesus’ name.

The Yoruba Unity Forum chairman further congratulated Governor Oyetola on the final success of the Amotekun security innovation on board along with his other Southwest project approval on the meaningful, positive security of the people against the insecurity threats from insurgents Fulani marauders, arm robbery, kidnapping and other threats to the security of the  properties and lives of the masses, guaranteed by their respective by their legislative houses approvals.
