Ex FADAN boss and daughter, design Covid-19 face masks, sell to the rich

Ex-President of Fashion Designers Association of Nigeria, Mrs. Funmi Ajila-Ladipo along with daughter, have come out with an indigenous designed Covid-19 face mask, at their highbrow Lekki base in Lagos.

Funmi Ajila-Ladipo
The face masks which are branded under Regalia by Fal, is the newest sensation among the rich in the Lekki axis of Lagos. But Funmi Ajila-Ladipo says she is not only selling to the rich. “Yes, it is right now popular in Lekki because we are based here and it is easy for people in our neighbourhood of Lekki and Ajah environs to get it after a phone order or online purchase during this lockdown, but our target is beyond the rich because the face masks are convenient and affordable. Our factory has the capacity for large scale production."
But why the rush into producing designer face masks? Funmi Ajila-Ladipo said that Regalia By Fal had to quickly come up with unique designer face masks that will appeal to fashionable gentlemen and ladies.
She said the creation of the designer face masks was inevitable because Nigerians seems to prefer a locally made face mask to those from abroad. She added that, from the look of things, face masks have come to stay all over the world. And you know, Nigerians who are fashionable in mind, would not just wear anything!
She said that the world is likely to be stuck with face masks, for at least for the rest of this year, and that according to her, is because, even after the lockdown, face mask wearing will still be in vogue for as long as Covid-19 keeps spreading in and outside Nigeria: And would likely also be required for all travelers in and around Nigeria and abroad.
