Wema Bank branch closes down as staff contracts coronavirus

If you doubt the existence of Coronavirus, then the closure of a Wema Bank Dugbe branch in Ibadan will make you suddenly think twice. The bank has been shut down indefinitely because of a female staff that is said to have contacted Coronavirus there.

The female staff has been urged to go into isolation, in accordance with NCDC directive.

According to a public notice that is presently circulating, the branch has been closed to enable it to be dis-infected and will only re-open only when it is certified that it is safe enough for services to resume.
