Markets in Lagos State are all today under lockdown, and that is in honour of the late governor of Lagos Alhaji Lateef Jakande the pioneer civilian governor of the state.
This morning, while some traders were seen hanging
around their lock up shops in the market, some other traders had collectively
gone to central Lagos where ‘home call’ ceremonies are on-going for the late
governor.
The instruction to have the shops closed in honour of
the late governor is said to have emanated from the desk of the The
Iyaloja-General of Nigeria, Mrs. Folasade Tinubu Ojo.
