WTO-DG: Businessman Olorogun (High Chief) Mowarin congratulates Okonjo-Iweala

Olorogun (High Chief) Elkanah Mowarin on Monday joined a list of top Nigerians who sent congratulatory messages to the new Director General of the World Trade Organization. 

Mowarin who is the Chief Executive Officer of E.O. M Communications Group said:

“Words fail me in expressing my joy over the confirmation of Dr Mrs) Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala on her election as Director-General of the World Trade Organisation (WTO). Her confirmation is very interesting one when you consider the high level horse trading, with particular reference to the initial opposition by the United States of America.”

He said further that he is in fact overwhelmed as the Harvard educated and renowned economist takes up another challenging global appointment.

“Super congratulations to the new Director General of the World Trade Organisation, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-iweala, our own world acclaimed and quintessential woman of inestimable value; our own global pacesetting icon and phenomenon from Delta State in Nigeria; and our own highly respected jewel of the black race! I celebrate her,” he added.
