AIDO Network International has announced the appointment of Otunba Bimbo Roberts Folayan (MBCS CITP, FIIM) into the AIDO Advisory and Arbitration Board.
Otunba Bimbo Folayan becomes the 10th member of the Advisory and Arbitration Board which is made up of experts from different areas within the scope of AIDO’s objectives.
As a member of this Board which is made up of other
royals and international experts, members will act in advisory capacity to the
Executive Board when specific issues arise. The services they provide as
members of AAB will be on voluntary basis. This includes (amongst others)
provision of insight and specific knowledge on key topics and programmes, to
support business planning and alignment to AIDO strategic goals.
AIDO International Network is an international NGO
established as a platform for dialog, unity and development of the African
continent through the use of collaboration and culture. Since its creation, it
has widened its reach with chapters in Germany, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa,
Togo, Uganda, USA and the UK.
With the appointment of Otunba Bimbo Folayan, a new
Nigerian chapter will be opened, and an appointment made for a Nigerian
Representative on the executive board.
Otunba Bimbo Roberts Folayan is the founder and
executive Director of the Nigerian Diaspora Direct Investment Summit. He was a
former two-time Chairman of the Central Association of Nigerians in the UK
(CANUK) and a highly respected Black, Asian and minority ethnic leader in the
UK. He is also the Chairman of the black entertainment, film, fashion, television
and arts (BEFFTA) awards and patron to 22 other international organisations.
