A total number of 125,058 Lagos residents, are set to benefit from Lagos Cares in the next two years.
Lagos Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu made this known today at Ikeja, while unveiling its COVID-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus (CARES) which according to him, will support 125,058 residents in the next two years.
Sanwo-Olu said the Lagos CARES programme would among other things provide economic relief and recovery support to identified vulnerable persons. And it is facilitated by the World Bank as “an integral part of the national approach adopted to alleviate the burden of the COVID-19 pandemic and enhance the well being of residents.”
