Sheikh Hammed Olarenwaju Alfulani has decried the spate of domestic and sexual violence across the globe.
While speaking with select journalists, Alfulani said the increase in domestic violence is a sign of end times as predicted by the Glorious Qur'an.
He said, "it is a sign of end times. It is clear that we are in the twilight of mankind when we will be witnessing different kinds of anomalies as the usual. If you look at the story of Nuh, the things we are witnessing today aren't different from what we had then."
He also pointed out that the various social structures created by the society to prevent misdemeanors and promote cordial human relations have collapsed.
In his words, "The home values that held firm and made great people of our parents are gone. You see mothers dressed like prostitutes before their children and they engage in all kinds of abnormalities in the presence of their children. What else do you expect from children from such homes?"
He described the incessant cases of incest in the Nigerian society as inexcusable as even the social chain doesn't accept this and God condemns the act in grievous terms.
The islamic cleric called on the society to maintain eternal vigilance and increase it's prayers for forgiveness from God.
Sheik Alfulani proceeded to present two young females who was said to have been abused by their father with medical and educational aids, while he called on Nigerians aid the indigent.
