Most British and other nationals may not have the last opportunity to pay respect to the late husband of Queen Elizabeth 11, when the funeral service takes place today at St Georges chapel on the grounds of Windsor Castle in the United Kingdom.

This is as a result of the British royal family's decision, to minimise the further spread of covid-19. We also understand that it was also the wish of Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, to have a quiet, solemn funeral.

However some form of crowd is already building up distance away from the church area, hoping to catch a sight of some of the activities and processes that will bid Prince Philip, a final farewell.
