| New Olu of Warri, Prince Utieyinoritsetsola Emiko |
Chief Johnson Amatserunreleghe, the Iyatsere of Warri kingdom and Acting Chairman Warri council of Chiefs and Olu Advisory council, has formally announced the passage of His Royal Majesty, Ogiame Ikenwoli at Ode Itsekiri, at a gathering of Itsekiri prominent chiefs, Princes and sons and daughters.
He also declared a period of 3 months for mourning by the Itsekiri nation, meaning that, all ceremonies and festivities will be suspended within the period, with the traditional tying of wrappers upside down during the period of mourning.
He also announced and presented the new Olu of Warri Designate Prince Utieyinoritsetsola Emiko to the Itsekiri nation.
