Mr Shola Oshunkeye |
Winner of CNN African Journalist Of The Year 2006, Mr Shola Oshunkeye is 65! And the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, is happy with him and at the same time rejoicing with him.
Oshunkeye who will turn 65 tomorrow April 20, 2021 has risen into the shoes and status of being called a veteran in Nigerian journalism.
He has worked in the corridors and in offices of the "Concord Press, where he rose to edit the then best-selling Weekend Concord, Associate Editor at TELL Magazine, editor of The Spectator, a publication of The Sun Publishing Limited, and Managing Director/Editor-in-Chief of The Sun Ghana."
A 1996 winner of the Nigerian Media Merit Award, Best Print Journalist category, President Buhari urged Oshunkeye to pass his knowledge to the younger generation journalists.
Fearless Oshunkeye a while ago, turned his back on the print media and threw his journalistic skill into online publishing, and presently, creating a difference on the platform of The Crest, an online media.
