Media friendly Zamfara state Gov. Matawalle, share car gift to Media houses in the state

Media houses in Zamfara state woke up on Monday, to receive Peugeot 406 car gifts as largesse from the state Governor, Bello Matawalle. 

The Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Bala Maru, who represented the governor during the presentation, said the car gifts is meant to "ameliorate the transport difficulties faced by the organisations in the state."

The Governor's gift of nine new Peugeot 406 cars, went to the media houses, including the state Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) and RATTAWU the electronic arm of the union.

The gesture, was to fulfil his promise which he made to them, when he hosted media executives in the state to break the Ramadan fast.
