Isreal's massive assault on Hamas targets in the coastal area, may have forced more than 42,000 Palestinians in Gaza to leave.
According to a UN agency, 42,000 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip have fled their homes because of Israel’s air attacks on the coastal territory.

A spokesperson for the UN Palestinian Relief and Works Agency, said today, that these much number of Palestinians, "sought shelter" with them in the Gaza Strip. And 2500 people left homeless after their homes were destroyed.
The organisation added that more than 2,500 people have been left homeless after their homes were destroyed.
