Buhari Government suspends Twitter in Nigeria

It is official that the Nigerian government headed by President Muhammadu Buhari has suspended the microblogging site known as Twitter in Nigeria.

The suspension was made known in a statement by the Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed.

The suspension is an indefinite one and may reach out to other social media platforms like Facebook in need be.

Twitter more or less gave the President a slap in the face twice when it removed the president's post twice. This seemed not to have gone down well with the federal government.
