Miss Hotlegs South Africa is a beauty pageant aimed towards empowering ambitious young women between the ages of 18-28 years old through social impact while providing the opportunity for self-growth, self-care, and a focus on positive self-image through showcasing their talent. Although it will be the first ever Miss Hotlegs pageant to be held in South Africa, Miss Hotlegs pageant has been a yearly event in Nigeria and Ghana for the last 7 years and is widely celebrated in West Africa.
The first ever South Africa edition of Miss Hotlegs pageant is being brought by Finishing Touch Events Productions in collaboration with Miss Hotlegs Africa to the country in December this year.
Miss Hotlegs South Africa is a continental pageant showcasing beauty and intelligence while drawing attention to, and mobilising collaborative positive action in addressing situations that dent, demoralise, and dehumanise South African girls and young women. Miss Hotlegs South Africa is looking for young ambitious women who are passionate, proactive, and driven towards creating positive social impact in their respective communities.
The maiden edition of Miss Hotlegs South Africa pageant which is to be held in Barnyard Theatre Silverstar on 9th December has already been predicted as the biggest of its kind ever to have graced the country due to its uniqueness and different style of judging from its counterparts in West Africa by the entertainment gurus of the entire region.
Auditions for the maiden edition of Miss Hotlegs South Africa pageant were held from 7th – 9th July 2021 where 59 semi-finalists were selected. Miss Hotlegs South Africa grand finale will assemble some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry as well as the prettiest beauty queens in an elegant, fun-filled show.
The winner of the pageant among other mouth-watering prizes automatically becomes a brand ambassador for the Miss Hotlegs Africa project which is expected to bring the entire continent together. This also comes with exotic international trips abroad.
The winner, 1st, 2nd and 3rd runner up will be crowned and will be awarded projects and community engagements. They will need to serve as role models for the girls and young women across South Africa by demonstrating that beauty pairs well with brains, being graceful and positive. They will be able to draw attention towards challenges faced by young women of the region by being the brand ambassadors to sponsors and collaborators. The winner and runner-ups will be able to mobilise stakeholders in support of solving problems faced by young women.
