I'm contesting to change living condition of my constituency - Hon Ashimiu Afeez Adio

Honourable Ashimiu Afeez Adio, a popular member of the Tinubu Support Group for Southwest Campaign Committee for 2023, is set to change the living condition of the people in Egbeda/Ona Ara constituency in Oyo State.


Hon. Afeez Adio, a popular choice amongst the people of Egbeda/Ona Ara constituency is aspiring to the House of Representatives come 2023 general elections, under the platform of APC.


"I don’t believe in politics of division rather, i emphasise inclusion and party supremacy in all my dealings in my political sphere.


So Adio, as he is also popularly known says, "I am contesting because I want to change the living condition, improve standard of living and continuous growth of the people of Egbeda/ Ona Ara Federal Constituency, Oyo State, by making conscious efforts through laws and supporting bills alike.



"I believe I am a credible voice that can amplify the wishes and desire of my constituents at the National level; I understand their needs and wants because I have always being an integral part of livelihood of the indigenes of Egbeda Ona Ara Local Government Area.


Honourable Ashimiu Afeez Adio says more on why he is contesting:


"It is also necessary for me to throw my hat into the ring at this stage because it’s the turn of Ona Ara indigene to represent the constituency at the House of Representatives. After my advent and attempt in 2019, I believe I shouldn’t relent on the need to bring concrete and visible dividends of democracy to the doorstep of my people."


Adio throws more light on the benefits that the people of Egbeda/Ona Ara constituency in Oyo state, stand to gain if he wins.


"My people have always been benefiting from my biennial empowerment through skills acquisition training organize by my foundation. We have so far trained women/young men in 10 different products making and given grants to more than 3000 people. I also support my constituents at the point of need monthly through my Gift-The-Needy monthly subventions.
If I can do all these at this stage of my political career, I believe the sky is the limit in terms of how much more my people stand to benefit from me representing them at the National Assembly."


Before now, Hon. Adio contested in the primaries of 2019 for the Egbeda/ Ona Ara federal constituency. And he has also been a staunch member of Alliance for Democracy since 1999, and presently one of the egg heads of the Tinubu Support Group for Southwest Campaign Committee for 2023,
