2023 Guber: Pastor Umo Eno Arrives A'Ibom With Pomp and Cheers

... Urges Supporters to Ignore Traducers, Blackmailers

Amidst pomp and cheers by thousands of supporters, the Akwa Ibom State Governorship Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Pastor Umo Eno Thursday afternoon arrived Uyo with the Party’s certificate of return he had received at the party headquarters in Abuja.

Addressing the crowd at the Victor Attah International Airport,  Pastor Eno noted that  with his certificate of return, he was emboldened for victory in 2023.

He emphasised that the race is not for the swift nor given to men of understanding, but God alone showed mercy to whom He chooses to show mercy.

According to him, "gradually we are getting there. Very soon, and very very soon, and with your PVC, we shall come out victorious. Please go and get your PVC because with your PVC, you will be able to show your support for PDP, and for me, your governorship candidate.

Responding to a wild allegation making the rounds about his credentials, he said "I don't know if they are
the West African Examination Council ( WAEC) but don't bother about them.

“It shows you the desperation of human beings, and the Bible said that a man's enemy will come from his household.

“These are the same people we sat together in EXCO. Please disregard their cheap blackmail.”

"In 1981, I went to Victory High School, Ikeja, Lagos, where I was the Senior Prefect, How can I forge a certificate of the school I attended?"

"So please they have nothing to say. Let them look for something else.

The Bible says "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers them from them all.
The ones they did before, the ones they are doing now and the ones they'll do tomorrow, God will deliver us from them all."

Pastor Eno appreciated Governor Udom Emmanuel and wife, men, women and youth groups led by the Maintain Peace Movement (MPM) for being a pillar of support to the fulfilment of his destiny, as well as the energetic crowd of supporters for what he described as a spontaneously wonderful reception.

The carnival - like train which made its first stop at the palace of the Oku Ibom Ibibio, Ntenyin Solomon Euk, climaxed with a thanksgiving service at the All Nations Christian Ministry International, Eket.
