EU Observers scores Nigerian Saturday/Sunday election low

The European Union observers have scored the election conducted in Nigeria on Saturday and Sunday, very low.

"We have noticed that the BVAS were not followed and there were intimidations here and there which are not up to the international standard that should be set in elections.

The EU had 110 observers that were deployed to observe during the election. 80% of the polling venues opened late and lack of transparency by INEC was mentioned repeatedly in their observation.
