Central Bank To Flood The Banks Today With Cash

The Central Bank of Nigeria says it is set to flood the commercial banks with N1,000, N500 and N200 notes.

We hear that the CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, has directed banks to begin the disbursement of old N1,000, N500 and N200 notes to the public immediately.

Hopefully therefore, it is expected that the problem of cash scarcity witnessed in the country in the last few weeks will be a thing of the past as cash will saturate round within the next hours.
