KPMG Goes Naked In Public As Former Chairman Exposes Non Payment of Gratuity Since 34 Years

Bashorun J.K. Randle, a former Chairman of KPMG, an international global organisation, has exposed how the organisation owed him his priced gratuity and pension for over 34 years!

Without mincing words, Bashorun J.K Randle, who is also a former 

President of the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria, declared in a sour mood:

"I worked for KPMG for thirty-four years with eleven years as Chairman/Chief Executive). I retired in 2004 but here we are in 2023 and I am still waiting for my gratuity and pension."

He recalled an article he had earlier published, "2023 : WHY NIGERIA’LL REMAIN POVERTY CAPITAL, BY WORLD BANK, KPMG”. By  Bashorun J .K Randle, where he had stated the obvious consequences of poverty in the country. 

He stated further that, Nigerians are mostly poor because the system cheats the average Nigerian of his or her due earnings. That even after working for an organisation for years, they are denied what is due to them.

"There are millions and millions of Nigerians who work night and day and there's nothing like gratuity or pension for them; infact, they never heard the words before. In other words, the future is bleak and they have to individually create their own pension schemes from their meagre earnings. Regardless, it's really strange that a whole Chairman of KPMG retired without his gratuity and pension," he lamented sadly.

Randle who is a foremost Nigerian accountant, says he has cause to feel cheated of his pension and gratuity.
