Mr. Babatunde Fashola, the Minister of Works and Housing, has given an insight into what's going to happen, when repair works starts on the 3rd Mainland Bridge.
The repair work which is expected to cover 11 kilometres, including interchanges, ramps, and critical links, has received an approval of N6.2 billion by the Federal Executive Council (FEC).
While on a programme on Channels Television, the Minister said that he does not expect that the bridge will be closed down for the repair works, he added though that if need be for such closures, then it will be during weekends.
However, the minister does not forsee the work taking place during his tenure which is about to expire next month.
