It was a honour and privilege for the team of OFBJP Nigeria, who were led by Sanjay Srivastava, The Convener, Overseas friends of BJP, an India support group, to meet and interact with Hon'ble Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh Ji, during his visit to Nigeria, the West African nation.
The event organized by the Indian High Commission in Abuja provided an excellent opportunity for the Indian diaspora in Nigeria to engage with the Hon'ble Minister of Defence.
Shri Rajnath Singh Ji was here in Nigeria as state guest to attend the colourful Inauguration ceremony of the Honourable President of Nigeria
Sanjay Srivastava pointed out at the event that "It is noteworthy that Shri Rajnath Singh Ji's role in shaping India's national security policies and strategies is crucial. The meeting with him has been a moment of admiration, delight, and enthusiasm for Team OFBJP Nigeria and the Indian community in Nigeria."
Sznjay alo noted that, "The OFBJP activities as goodwill ambassadors, highlighting the achievements of the Modi government and working towards strengthening the bilateral relations between India and Nigeria, are commendable. The Indian diaspora's vibrant presence and contributions to the development of both countries play a significant role in promoting trade, commerce, and cultural exchange between the two nations.
"Shri Rajnath Singh Ji's guidance to Team OFBJP Nigeria reflects the importance of dialogues and collaborations with the diaspora to enhance cooperation and address common challenges. The exchange of ideas and experiences can lead to innovative solutions and foster a sense of unity among the Indian diaspora while maintaining strong bonds with their homeland.
