Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state, has formally handed over power of state to his deputy, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.
In a written letter to notify the Ondo State House of Assembly of same, Akeredolu said that he is on medical leave and his deputy, should act in his place as acting Governor.
We learnt that the Speaker of the House, Olamide Oladiji announced that the Governor has embarked on a 21-day leave for medical treatment abroad, which started from 7th of June, 2023 to end 6th July, 2023.
