After a lengthy judgment process, the Presidential Election Petitions Court has uphold the election victory of President Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Party, according to the duly counted votes and as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), in the February 25, 2023 poll.
The Tribunal declared that the petitioners did not prove their cases.
And in summary, Justice Haruna Tsammani declared, “This petition accordingly lacks merit. I affirm the return of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the duly elected President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The parties are to bear their cost.”
In a relative development afterwards, President Bola Tinubu hailed the tribunal’s verdict calls on the erstwhile two petitioners, the duo of Atiku Abubakar of the PDP and Peter Obi of the Labour Party, to support his government.
