South Africa’s Rising Stars Compete for the Crown at Miss Hotlegs Pageant

The stage is set, and the spotlight is ready to shine on the aspiring young women of South Africa as they prepare to make their mark in the world of beauty and social impact.

Miss Hotlegs South Africa Pageant, a prestigious global beauty pageant organized under the auspices of Finishing Touch Events, is all set to grace the stage with elegance and excellence on the 29th of October 2023 at the Barnyard Theatre, Emperors Palace.

Miss Hotlegs is not your typical beauty pageant. It’s a platform that goes beyond just showcasing beauty and intelligence; it’s a celebration of empowerment, self-growth, self-care, and positive self-image. More than just a contest, Miss Hotlegs South Africa Pageant aims to empower ambitious young women to become beacons of hope and change in their communities.

Mosy O’Ginni, the CEO of Finishing Touch Events UK, eagerly shared insights into the upcoming event. She expressed confidence that this year’s pageant would not only celebrate physical beauty but also serve as a beacon for confidence in youth, a showcase of talent, and a challenge to the entrepreneurial spirit of young women.

Under the guidance of the Finishing Touch Events team, this continental pageant will draw attention to and mobilize collaborative positive action to address situations that dent, demoralize, and dehumanize girls and young women. “It’s a mission to create an environment where beauty pairs well with brains, grace, and positivity” added O’Ginni.

Chumasande Somazembe, last year’s winner, described her experience as follows: “The warmth and acceptance I received from the organizers, choreographers, pageant coaches, and newfound sisters were truly remarkable. The atmosphere felt like home, and the saying ‘a heart is where a home is’ came to life from the moment I arrived”

This year’s winners will become the faces of empowerment, drawing attention to the challenges faced by young women in the region. As brand ambassadors to sponsors and collaborators, they will mobilise stakeholders to support solutions to these problems.

In addition to these opportunities, the winners will also enjoy international trips to selected pageants across the world, broadening their horizons and providing them with experiences that will shape their futures.

Miss Hotlegs South Africa Pageant 2023 promises to be an evening of glamour, talent, and impact, as young women take center stage to not only celebrate their beauty but also their intelligence and their commitment to creating a better world for girls and young women everywhere.
