In keeping with their customary practice, management staff of the Ministry of Information, led by the Permanent Secretary, Akparawa James Edet, stormed Emmanuel's Court, Shelter Afrique residence of their Commissioner Comrade Ini Ememobong to celebrate him as he gallantly climbs into the fourth floor of his life journey on earth
The management staff defied the early hours rain to enable them beat the queue and be the first to wish their Boss, the Honourable Commissioner for Information and oracle of the ARISE Agenda, a Happy Birthday, as he clocks 40 today.
As usual, Birthday card and gifts were presented to him in their traditional way as well as the cutting of birthday cake amidst birthday chants. Prayers were also offered to him while he in turn prayed for the management staff as well as other staff of the Ministry.
Today is another joyous day for Staff of the Ministry of Information when they look back at the impactful strides of Comrade Ememobong in all sectors - human capacity building, staff welfare, face-lift to offices, healthcare Outreaches for staff, educational advancement to staff, enrollment in professional bodies and lots more. The staff are hopeful for better days ahead.
Meanwhile the staff are in top spirit at the Praise, Hymns and Worship session in commemoration of the 40th birthday of the State Information helmsman ongoing now at Church of Christ, 144 Aka Road, Uyo by 5pm today.
